Event Org Structure
The positions are the same as defined in the RogueCon abstract organization structure:
Convention Chair -- This person is ultimately responsible for the coordination of the Convention and all of its events.
Operations Chair -- Responsible for at-the Con operations. The Operations Department focuses on the timely startup, shutdown and teardown of all events at the convention, and making sure people know where they need to be, and when that is. Registration is also a responsibility of Operations, even though it occurs prior to in addition to during the Convention.
Logistics Chair -- Responsible for before-the-Con planning, procurement and implementation of the physical or communicative aspects of the convention. This includes but is not limited to: Contracts (Hotel, rental), Publishing (website and programs), Communication outside the event to Vendors, Guests or other communication not handled by Scheduling, and procurement of supplies as required.
Scheduling Chair -- Responsible for scheduling activities to happen at the convention. This Department is responsible to locate and rally volunteers to submit event ideas within the Convention's focused activities and to schedule activities and space for activities in a responsible and balanced manner.
Marketing Chair -- Responsible for marketing the Con and lining up Sponsors for the Con.
